When you come in for your first appointment, we’ll ask you to complete a medical history form, so that we can get to know a bit about you and how your individual needs can be best met, as well as making us aware of any conditions or medications that could affect your treatment. We’ll also find out what’s brought you to visit the practice, whether it’s for a general dental check-up, a specific concern or an interest in cosmetic dental treatment.

One of our dentists will carefully examine your teeth, gums and surrounding structures, including a mouth cancer check as standard. If anything suspicious is found, we will refer you to a hospital consultant straight away. Our dentist will take photographs and x-rays as necessary to aid diagnosis, and at the end of your appointment will present you with a treatment plan, including a projected timeline, number of appointments and costs. Emergency Dental Treatment

If you have a dental emergency, you should see a dentist as soon as possible, so please contact us as soon as the emergency occurs.
